Under the Snow

The story opens on a CARIBBEAN ISLAND, where a figure wearing a OAKLAND RAIDERS JACKET passes through a strange and eerie shopping market. The Raiders fan finds a witch doctor, DR. BAZILE. His shop is loaded with demonic and and evil imagery, including a face of a specific demon that we will see often. Back in American suburbia, we meet the protagonist, Natalie, who’s visiting her best friend CHRiSTINE and her boyfriend, JULIAN at his house. But Natalie and Julian are having a secret relationship, causing stress for Natalie. Natalie gets a call from her boss, SANDRA, who tells her to pick up the night shift at the gas station. Natalie reluctantly agrees, due to previous bad experiences and a horrible blizzard will make a commute rough. Christine bails her out and offers her a ride. At her house, Natalie has a dream, and there's a flashback where she's with Julian at a hotel. Natalie spots someone in a BLACK RAIDERS JACKET on a sidewalk watching her. Christine's car horn beeps, waking her up. On the way to the gas station, Christine inquires about Natalie’s love life, and Natalie tells her there’s nothing going on. Christine thinks it’s sad, and offers her an edible. Christine almost hits a figure in a HOODED PARKA. Natalie tries to help this person, but the Hooded Parka doesn’t respond, freaking Christine out. She takes off.. At the isolated gas station, Natalie meets her coworker RAJIV, who tells her Sandra isn’t there, pissing Natalie off. He also hits on Natalie, who turns him down. Natalie also discovers the security company is having issues with the storm, and she's going to be on her own any minute. As the blizzard ramps up, Natalie unexpectedly passes out from the edible and has a DREAM SEQUENCE. It starts off well, but the DEMON from the opening pops up and attacks her, waking her up. Natalie calls Julian about the dream and he says he had a nightmare as well from the edible., Through a camera, Natalie sees a STRANGE FIGURE approaching the gas station. She walks outside to check it out, but nobody’s there. She considers it a hallucination from the weed. Natalie changes her Instagram to private and sees a photo of the DEMON from the opening scene on her page. She calls Julian and he tells her he doesn't see it and it’s not a big deal. Natalie isn’t convinced. Natalie googles about edible hallucinations and sees a mention of the dark web. She later hears MYSTERIOUS KNOCKING but can’t see anyone in the store or on the cameras. The knocking continues anyway. Spooked, Natalie contacts Uber to get the hell out of there. Uber cancels her ride due to the blizzard, leaving her on the highway. She calls Julian instead and he agrees to come get her . As Julian leaves his house, he has his own strange hallucination and heads for the gas station. Natalie sees and hears something DEMONIC in the woods, forcing her back into the gas station, where she finds a KNIFE . A police officer, MORRIS, arrives to see how she's handling the storm. Natalie says she thinks someone is messing with her and pleads with him to look into it . . As Morris inspects the woods, Natalie looks into edible hallucinations on the dark web and finds Dr. Bazile’s name and a demon that looks similar to the Demon that is scaring her. She opens her Instagram page, but to her amazement, the demon's photo is no longer there. Morris says he didnt see or find anything but he can stick around for a bit just in case. Natalie calls Christine about her hallucinations and inquires more about the edible Natalie accidentally tells Christine Julian is coming to get her, which Christine questions. Driving on the highway, Julian nearly hits a PERSON in the middle of nowhere. He checks to see if they’re ok, but he doesn’t see anyone around. Back in the store, a hooded FIGURE knocks on the front doors. As Natalie approaches, she realizes Morris has left. She lets the person inside and it's JOSH, a typical college dude. He acts alittle suspicious , keeping Natalie on edge. Julian gives up looking for the person, and gets back into his car....and sees a different DEMON in the passenger seat. Before he can do anything about it, he’s brutally killed. Natalie calls Julian to find out where he is. He doesn’t answer. The intercom speaker comes on, and Natalie believes it’s the security company. But it’s not. It’s DEMONIC voices, scaring Natalie back into the office. Natalie prepares to leave and head for the nearest house. On a camera, she sees someone or something that resembles "JULIAN" exiting a bathroom. The office lights shut off, and as they come back on, the DEMON is right behind Natalie, in the office! Natalie uses her knife to slice the demon’s head off, but she notices it’s still moving . Natalie escapes the gas station, struggling in the storm and followed by the demon. Josh returns, and Natalie gets into his jeep, frantically tell him she’s being chased and in danger. Josh doesn't see anything himself but takes off. On the highway, Natalie spots Julian’s car and a pool of blood. After hearing more strange noises, Natalie tells Josh its time to leave. Josh drives Natalie to Christine’s house to see if she’s ok. Shes fine and Natalie tells her what is happening. Christine thinks Natalie is hallucinating everything and tries to calm her down. Natalie suggests trying to take a shower. After her shower, Nataliee notices A BLACK RAIDERS JACKET in a closet. She feels betrayed as she realizes Christine has been following her and aware of their secret. Even worse, Christine admits she went to the witch doctor, Dr. Bazile for her twisted revenge. Natalie is stunned as Christine delves into her terrfiying details and wanted Julian killed. In a rage, Natalie jumps at Christine, who stabs her in the stomach, but not killing her. They tussle and Natalie is able to stab Christine in defense. Before Christine dies, she tells Natalie the demon curse will stay with you. Natalie is able to call for an ambulance. In the hospital, Natalie if Julian was brought in. A nurse tells her no, confirming Julian is more than missing. Natalie walks out of a bathroom and spots a figure in the hallway. She follows them, thinking its possibly Christine. Its not Christine. But she sees the demon again, realizing Christines warning could be correct. She will always be haunted.
