Synopsis/Details
Unlike her blood-thirsty relatives, Valentine Dragon faints at the sight of blood, she’s petrified of the dark, and the thought of thrusting her virginal fangs into a human neck makes her nauseous. After failing to find work as an actress, she reluctantly moves back home to Dracula’s Castle. She discovers the bank is foreclosing on it because Dracula used fraudulent information to obtain a reverse mortgage. In order to save their home, Valentine creates a raffle. The lucky winner gets to spend one night in Dracula’s Castle. The winner is Cliff Murad, an investigative reporter and a direct descendant of Dracula's archenemy, Sultan Murad II. Sick of his family's obsession with Dracula, Cliff longs to prove once and for all there is no such thing as a vampire. Valentine has had 666 years to deal with her phobias regarding killing someone, so he shoves the minor problem of dying a mortal death, if she doesn’t Awaken this Halloween to the back of her head as she focuses on falling in love with Cliff. As time creeps, Valentine's body grows weak. She’s too anemic to leave the castle, but if she doesn’t, she will be forced to kill Cliff. She fights the urge and chooses mortality. Unfortunately, Dracula has other plans.
