Synopsis/Details
A zombie outbreak has been contained, but the threat is ever present as no one knows how the virus is passed on. Life has returned to normal, more or less. In the aftermath, some of the grieving have taken to having their 'turned' loved ones held in secure 'care homes'. Beth Daniels is one such griever, a cop, unable to accept the loss of her son, she works two jobs to keep him at Halperin House Nursing Home in the hope that someone finds a way to bring him back. Today is Visiting Day, the one day a month she gets to see her Sammy, and for an hour, she can pretend he's her little boy again. The day starts badly with a broken down car, and a called in a favor from her partner. It goes from bad to worse when a power cut allows the undead to escape and run amok in the facility, whilst trapping her and the other visitors inside with them. Beth must save the other visitors, the facilities staff and her partner as the zombies close in. A shocking discovery turns the whole situation on its head; they must confront human monsters, in league with the dead, and fight one last battle to save their lives.
