Synopsis/Details
“Who Killed Glory” is a musical drama series when “How to Get Away with Murder” meets “Empire” in Hollywood Hills California. As COREY EDWARDS aka GLORY narrates about his fame and fortune from the grave, he introduces an array of characters and likely suspects. Close to his former crack addicted mother, PATRICIA EDWARDS, Glory goes to her in dreams raising questions about his unsolved case prompting her to hire investigator, CHARLIE GAINS. With the help of Glory’s small group of friends, that include NBA player CHAD NIXON, his two hype men and childhood friends, SEAN MATHEWS aka SLICK and JOEY CLARK aka WHITE BOY, Charlie learns secrets about Glory his mother never knew including his cocaine use, secret abortion, computer hacking and his harem of women.
The seemingly untouchable playboy had multiple women that include DENISE JONES, his high school sweetheart who thinks she’s his one and only, MELISSA ALLEN aka YELLA LADY, a rapper he sleeps with when in Atlanta, SUKI LEE, the daughter of a kingpin he met on tour in Japan, JESSICA LEWIS, his thick instagram model, GEMINI JACKSON, a popular R&B singer he had a crush on, super model BALENA ASHFORD his pregnant baby mama pending paternity results, and SAMANTHA WALSH, his rich white girl who plays the “good friend” around all of his other women. After posting their loving messages about the painful loss of Glory on social media, the women finally meet and compare stories during an interview arranged by a gossip blog. Glory’s suspicions of his women grow as a few of them appear to be friends.
As Glory’s fans create their own conspiracy theories online, the whole music industry falls under suspicion, when his manager, WILLIAM PEARSON, his music producer ORLANDO HAYES, a known gang member, and the owner of his recorder label, PETE SAMPSON, are accused for various reasons including being part of the infamous illuminati. Evidence mounts on those close to Glory since his whereabouts were closely guarded. Riddled with dreams that lead to questions, Patricia is at her breaking point as she fights off drug cravings while working tirelessly to find out “Who Killed Glory?”
