I’m Khari X (Khari R. Telesford)—a NYC-born and bred screenwriter, storyteller, and playwright with a relentless passion for bold, visceral narratives that leave a mark. My work thrives in the worlds of psychological dramas, crime, neo-noir, dark comedy, thrillers, fantasy adventure and procedurals—where high stakes meet raw human emotion.
My storytelling journey began in childhood, sparked by Little Shop of Horrors and fueled by early performances in grade school musicals. Over the years, I’ve refined my craft, studying Meisner technique at the Ted Bardy Acting Studio (2021–2024) under Glenn Vincent and Ted Bardy, and further training with Master Acting Coach Bob McAndrew.
My writing style? Unfiltered. Sharp. Emotional. Visceral. I believe in stories that hit hard, cut deep, and refuse to be ignored.
I’m currently expanding my creative reach by developing feature-length screenplays, stage plays, and music video concepts. I’m always open to collaborating with filmmakers, producers, directors, and fellow screenwriters who share my vision for crafting unforgettable stories.
