”Adam&Eve” – The Original Couple
● 30 min.
● Single camera
● Comedy, pseudo documentary/fake reality
Logline: The first reality show ever produced, when there were only two people on the entire planet. Year zero, if you will.
Tagline: No pressure. Just populate the earth.
We are talking about a contained cast:
● Adam – The original alpha male. As dumb as they come, but give him a break. The poor guy has to learn everything the hard way, since there’s no one to teach him. He pretty much assumes the world is made for him, and Eve is hers automatically.
● Eve – The first and only woman. Considerably smarter than Adam. Many days younger than him, but she still seems to have a better grasp on things. Hers is the most important job in the universe, but it’s not a given she’ll do it.
● Monty – A python, who does his very best, or worst to educate the humans. We kinda get a feeling Monty is up to no good.
There is definitely trouble in paradise. No pressure or anything, it’s just that they have to populate the earth. This means, make babies, so that their children in turn can… Wait a minute, that can’t be right? Ew...?
Nothing is ever easy. You can’t just expect a lady to do your bidding. Then again, how can you expect a man to behave his best, when there’s no role model to learn from?
And who has been eating from the Tree of Knowledge? There is only one rule in paradise, ”Don’t eat from The Tree!”. How hard can it be?
”Adam&Eve” is done in the style of Parks&Recreation or The Office. They do their best, and the confessionals shed light on their emotions. Who knows, even God might show up at some point?
