Synopsis/Details
Travis Starr, back from A Cop’s Story and now retired from the Atlanta Police Department working as a private investigator for hire, is called back to Atlanta by an old friend on the force to try his hand at solving a murder involving dirty cops at a closed river landing. Starr is told the death of the cops’ appears to be the result of a drug deal gone badly and the case closed for lack of further evidence. But a wealthy Atlanta businessman’s son was also murdered and believes there’s much more to the case than has been told. Starr agrees to take the case but what he soon discovers makes him the target of the real killers, led by the ruthless, Animal Jack, leaving him beat up, setup and jailed for murder himself. Starr’s only recourse is to escape and find the real murdering crew to clear his name. But it’s a tough road Starr faces with organized crime, the police, and the murdering crew on his and the young neurotic female reporter’s trail that tags along with Starr for his story.
