Synopsis/Details
Sergeant Carl Nevada, a half-American Indian, half-Irishman in Dublin’s Garda buries his son after his murder at the hands of a drug dealer. The dealer’s arrest is short lived after witnesses to the crime are found dead and the dealer is released. Carl’s rage releases his ancestor’s Indian fury as he ends the dealer’s life along with his cohorts on a Dublin street as they work their trade. Carl’s brutal assault is carried out armed with only a Bowie knife and two tomahawks of legend pass down through Comanche generations. After the attack Carl lays his badge on the dealer’s body and walks off into the night becoming the underworld’s most feared assassin against their own. The years pass with Carl now known throughout Europe as “Comanche Carl.” Carl’s code is to never take an innocent life or one of law enforcement, and to never use a firearm in his paid for hire hits. Wounded and trying to escape from police after a messy hit Carl comes face to face with his estranged daughter who was ripped away from him by a cheating wife and divorce. Carl’s daughter, Casey, now a Garda herself is taken by Carl to his mountain hideaway where a rekindling of their father, daughter, relationship begins. With his daughter back Carl’s rage eases and his thoughts change to a new life, but a crime lord gets word of Carl’s habit of keeping records of all his hits and the names of those who hired him from a close friend of Carl who is his contact with the underworld. Fearful that Carl could betray him one day a hit is ordered on Carl’s life. When the assault is over Carl is left for dead and Casey kidnapped to the crime lord’s Dublin mansion. Badly wounded but driven by the fire within him Carl makes his way to the mansion armed with only his cutlery to save his daughter giving Dublin its morning headline describing the war that took place at the gangster’s mansion as “straight out of the movies.”
