Clay would rather be left alone.
Ever since losing his wife to cancer, he rarely leaves his airstream perched above the foothills of rural America. He spends every day in the routine of snapping photos as a freelance photographer, talking to his dog and avoiding contact with his estranged sister.
That is until, the night when a young girl, seemingly lost, plants herself at his doorstep. Rather than demanding a ride home, or any help at all, she talks of the cosmos, the distant future and the existential risk to humanity. It's all entertaining, until she presents Clay with a proposition, so harrowing, his friendly night takes a gruesome turn.
