Jen Palatino, a saucy and smart psychiatrist, is going through a bit of a rough patch.

She's found evidence of betrayal in her marriage, is facing oversight from the psych board at work, and has been under the thumb of her sister her entire life.

None of this has prepared her for today, when a fateful night with a charismatic stranger over dinner, turns fatal.

When Jen turns to her sister, who happens to be her personal lawyer for help, the truth comes crashing down around them.
