
Synopsis/Details
The story starts in an old tudor cottage in England in 1732, a man named Reginald is violently murdered by Charles Chester who at this point is seen as an ancient demon in a traditional Jesters outfit.
the story then goes back to 1642 and the house of Sir Weatherby, we are introduced to Charlie in his human form and his wife who both work for Sir Weatherby. Charlie is a jester and his wife Meg is a servant who mainly works in the kitchen.
soon a witchfinder named William Stern arrives with two large thugs, Sir Weatherby's arranged for the visit as he wants him to do something for him.
After arranging a meal and drinks in Sterns honour things take a sinister turn, it isn't long before the meal gets out of hand.
soon we witness the witchfinder attacking Charlies wife and murdering her, as Charlie tries to protect her he's violently beaten and whipped before passing out.
He wakes up in a dirty cell in a castle chained to a wall next to a witch. Charlie is to be burnt in the morning but he soon makes a deal with the witch agreeing to sell his soul in order to come back from the dead and avenge his wife.
In present day Chicago a man by the name of John has his wife Mary murdered by a property developer. The same witch from 1642 is seen again and offers to help him in exchange for his soul
Charlie is summoned and begins to exact revenge on the property developer and the people he hired. Charlie eventually arrives to take Johns life which he does.
