Consumed

Civilization as we know it is no more. Overtaken by an infestation of mutated parasites, most of humanity has become a horde of shambling corpses. Pockets of humanity struggle to survive amidst the chaos. Married couple Parker and Caroline are members of a small group of survivors that travel the countryside, looking for a safe place to settle down. While out scavenging for supplies, a series of immense earthquakes traps them in a warehouse basement. As they struggle to free themselves, a swarm of the undead parasite monsters senses them and surrounds their underground prison. They hold on to the futile hope that their friends will arrive in time to dig them out. But as the minutes tick by, and the monsters claw through the debris, their resolve crumbles, and they turn on each other. Caroline attacks her husband for his role in their daughter's death, while Parker confronts her with his knowledge of her indiscretions. But Caroline remains unaware that Parker's religious fervor has driven him mad, driven him to a dark place where he believes that only his violent actions can deliver her into salvation. Terrified, entombed, shattered... will Parker and Caroline be consumed by the evils above their heads, or the evils inside their hearts?
