Los Angeles, 1992, Nick Valens returns as his teenage self after being insisted by the devil herself. He has thirty days and thirty lives to be reunited with his wife, Brittney and his newborn daughter. Nick tries to find out from Ozzie, the former driver but is shot, ran over by a bus and shot again by a security guard. At a loss, a man named Ezekiel informs him to make the goal about his family and not himself. Now knowing what to do, Nick enters into a dating contest with a top popstar, Sierra Marx. Out of all the teenage boys, Nick wins but dies in a plane crash over and over. Overcoming his date and the plane ride, Nick makes it to New York and quickly wins Sierra's heart. Having their dinner together after a carriage ride, Nick goes out alone, leaving Sierra in hotel room. A visit to the hospital where Brittney is. Nick comforts Brittney and helps her to bed. In the nursery with his daughter, Nick has his moment with her and leaves. Back at the hotel room, Sierra wakes up and sees that Nick has not returned. On his way back to Sierra, Nick stops at a donut shop.
