Kaijin Love

A young boy watches in terror as a skyscraper-tall protector of Earth, Fusion, battles a powerful monstrosity of size, a kaiju. Fusion is losing, and badly, but then-- the two people who come together as equal parts to Fusion ready for Fusion Blast! Hope is restored and Fusion is on their way to winning another battle-- The kaiju rips Fusion apart. The government hides the truth as best they can while seeking to replicate what made Fusion...Fusion. Jag and Sam are two such candidates, found via dating website data, that hope to replicate love (the theoretical secret to the fusion) via statistics and science itself, but the problem is that no couple across the world, including Sam and Jag, have made a successful fusion. This is a little ditty about Jag and Sam, two volunteers brought together to gamble the safety of the world on scientifically-based love.
