Short Synopsis
Alex (18), socially awkward but athletic is smitten by MICHELLE (17), shy and avoids people by having her nose in a book every chance she gets.
Before Alex can muster the courage to introduce himself a pandemic shuts down all social gatherings. The possibility
of them meeting becomes impossible.
A year later pandemic restrictions are relaxed.
Unknown to Alex during the pandemic Michelle was affected by the virus in a life altering situation that left her deaf.
BRANDON (18), best bud to Alex and BECKY (18), sister to Michelle secretly arrange for Michelle and Alex to meet at a pool where Alex is a life guard. When Alex notices Michelle he knows this is his chance. On his next break he will make his move. While in the pool Michelle almost drowns. Alex saves her but she is frightened and rushed from the scene before Alex can come to grips with the situation. Realizing what had happened Alex blames Brandon for not telling him Michelle had lost her hearing and that she almost drowned because of it...
