An influential family on Pluto runs into issues when their daughter has gone Deaf in a horrific accident. Segregated from a cure on Earth the family gains insight on the workings of Deaf culture and watch the growth of their child and a sympathetic and amazing community. When sanctions are lifted and they get the chance to cure their daughter, it is reviled to them that the cure threatens their daughters very essence of existence. Act II: Plot driven. The underground community attempts to steal an experimental government intergalactic ship capable of a nation escaping Earths dangerous grasp. Exploration of a new solar system. Act III: Character driven. Based on an Arc (launched in Act I). A minimalist crew on an Arc suffers a near miss with a comet while on route to a new solar system. During the mishap key personal are killed or physically effected which risks the Arc’s survival. A single father of two children (one of them Deaf) attempt to not only save the Arc but also raise his children so they can be an asset for the mission. At the same time the government attempts to locate and round up the underground community on Pluto. *Special note - All three acts are written as short stories with referrals to each that tie the stories together. This is done so that they can also be used as advertising on other platforms and for competitions.
