Synopsis/Details
Beatrice and her secrete lover, Lydia, are taking Karate lessons to hide their relationship from her conservative parents, while Lydia's parents accept their sexuality. When a car of men scream "faggot" at them, Lydia hurls insults in response. 8:26 PM Beatrice's mother was livid; she had threatened to send Beatrice to conversion therapy if she refused to go on a date with a boy named Jonathan. Beatrice confided in Lydia, informing her that she was going on a date with a boy. Lydia wept, desperately pleading with Beatrice not to go because she knew the dangers of boys. Despite her reservations, Beatrice, who never could say no, reluctantly obeyed her parents' wishes.
