Synopsis/Details
Red White and Doomed is a hilariously satirical, blood-soaked, comedic action-adventure that speaks to our troubled times. A mix of The Cabin In The Woods and The Running Man, with nods to The Hunt, RoboCop, and Network. With our current political polarization and state of Media distrust making for fertile creative ground, Red White and Doomed explores issues of race, class, voter apathy, and touches on immigration, abortion, gun rights, and the ever widening gap between what they say and what they do. Throw in a bunch of jokes, some bathroom humor, betrayal, a damsel in distress, a heroic dog, and a shit-ton of gratuitous violence and well, I'd watch that for a dollar! The battle for ratings can be murder. It's televised combat as two ideologically-opposed media pundits face off mano a mano for a live audience. Almost everything has been orchestrated to bring out the worst in them, and all bets are off when it's revealed that only one of them will receive the seven-figure payout. But only if they survive.

The Writer: Timothy Shireman

There are some who call me Tim. A pre-WGA scribe who hails from a far-off, desolate wasteland known as New Jersey. After two decades in Atlanta, my Philly roots are now sunk deep in the Georgia clay. Having spent the last 15 years as a graphic designer and production artist, I decided to try something completely different & took up screenwriting. Making the creative jump has been a challenging yet rewarding transition. With a renewed sense of artistic freedom, I've dedicated myself to learning the craft of storytelling. A true genre fanatic, I was raised by the Horror section of Blockbuster. My cinematic pedigree & irreverent sense of humor give my work a unique sensibility. I hope… Go to bio
