Passengers (2016) is such a great movie and it's an amazing concept that needs to be explored more. And I think I do just that here. Fast paced plot. Simple story. Very few characters and locations. Weird humor. Twists on every corner. Obscure ideas. This script very much is my current writing style. But this is also a script where I finally didn't think too much about the budget. While this wouldn't be hard to film you still need a few sci-fi scenes here. It was so much fun to not focus on budget! This is such an enjoyable script to work on. I just wanted to read it again and again. That of course doesn't mean it's good, or bad. It just means that I enjoyed writing it and for sure would want to work on something sci-fi and crazy again. I'm a bit tired of just setting all my stories in regular schools or regular apartments. With a few redrafts I have added more exposition to make some concepts more simple to understand.
