It’s Avatar meets Hanna.
Our story begins on a spacecraft filled with pioneering families from Earth. It arrives at its destination, a habitable moon in a remote solar system. The ship is immediately attacked by Space Vikings, a violent species from a neighboring planet. A lone escape pod manages to eject from the burning ship. Aboard the pod is a robot named Garry, and his charge, a four-year-old girl named Ziggy. After crash-landing on the moon, Garry and Ziggy are discovered and taken away by large indigenous humanoids resembling Cavemen.
Twenty years later, a spacecraft from Earth arrives, searching for the missing ship. Aboard, a reality TV show prepares to broadcast, when they too are attacked by the Space Vikings. The cast and crew abandon ship.
Their escape pod lands on the moon and is quickly located by a Space Viking patrol. The fearsome Space Vikings begin to brutally execute the survivors. Before they can kill everyone, they are ambushed by a band of indigenous cavemen. Among the cavemen is a grown-up Ziggy. After defeating the Space Vikings, Ziggy and the cavemen take the survivors, two young extras named Megan and Theo, and a robot assistant named Gene, with them as they travel back to their village. Megan and Theo quickly fall behind. Ziggy, along with Gene, and a young caveman named William, stay back to assist Megan and Theo as the rest of the cavemen forge ahead. The following day they arrive at their village, only to find it destroyed. Everyone is dead, including Ziggy’s beloved robot Gary.
Seeking revenge, Ziggy and William begin a long journey to the Space Vikings base, with their reluctant guests in tow. After evading deadly creatures and Space Viking patrols, they reach their destination. Ziggy shares her plan to sacrifice herself and destroy the base with a nuclear power supply salvaged from her robot, Garry. Before Ziggy can execute her plan, Gene sneaks off in the night with the power supply. In the morning, a massive blast wakens the group. A mushroom cloud rises into the sky where the base used to be.
Not long after, three surviving Space Viking patrol ships find them. In the ensuing battle, Ziggy is badly wounded. As the Space Vikings close in for the kill, they are fired upon and destroyed by a rescue shuttlecraft from Earth. The shuttle lands. Ziggy is rushed aboard, along with Megan and Theo. William is left behind. As he watches the shuttle fly away, a wounded Space Viking emerges from the wreckage and begins firing. William takes cover behind his shield. The firing suddenly stops. William peers over his shield at the Space Viking impaled by an arrow. He turns and sees a charred and battered Gene lowering his bow as the Space Viking falls to the ground dead.
Ziggy wakes aboard a large military spacecraft in orbit. The Commanding Officer informs her that because of first contact protocols, Ziggy will not be allowed to return to the only home she’s ever known. However, he needs her to go back one last time and guide a search party to retrieve any technology left behind, namely Gene. Back on the moon, William and Gene travel across a vast plain towards a village on the horizon. Aboard a shuttle, Ziggy and a platoon of soldiers depart for the surface. The shuttle lands and the search begins.
