Synopsis/Details
Vinnie Amore is a hitman who has a heart of steel and a heart of gold. On the one hand, told to kill the mayor of his city, he does so without remorse, leaving the mayor’s husband, David Fellows, and their child, Abby, grieving the loss. On the other hand, Vinnie loves his compassionate wife Carla and his daughter Lily, and would do anything for them. Through Carla, Vinnie becomes unwilling friends with David, and Vinnie’s daughter Lily becomes good friends with Abby. But it is only when Carla is gunned down by a rival mafia gang that Vinnie truly understands David’s loss and the many emotions that he is experiencing, including the desire for revenge. Vinnie and David go through the grieving process together and become close friends. Vinnie’s boss then orders Vinnie to kill David, who is now running for mayor and is a threat to their organized crime syndicate. From an office tower window, Vinnie aims the gun at David, but can’t pull the trigger. Vinnie finally confesses to David that he killed David’s wife. David overcomes his desire for revenge, and forgives Vinnie.
