Synopsis/Details
When burgeoning mystery writer, Ann, discovers her husband unresponsive in the shower, she flashes back to the events that brought them to this juncture in time as she calls out to God to save him. For over twenty years, her husband, Jim (also a mystery writer) has been living with Parkinson’s disease and has been losing more and more of himself with each day. Ann, a Reformed Jew, is losing hope that God will help them, as Jim’s condition progresses and threatens to create a rift in their marriage. A chance meeting with a caregiver turns out not to be chance at all, but divine intervention. And with this man’s guidance and support, she and Jim grow closer to God, culminating in the dramatic moment when Ann calls out to Jesus to save Jim’s life and He answers. Her hope restored, she accepts him as her Messiah and Savior, thus becoming a Messianic Jewish Believer.
