Alex (23, autistic but good at masking it, introverted-thinker) tentatively accepts an invitation to his work's Christmas party after his friend and manager, Christina (48, married, introverted-feeler), nags him to do so. Alex does well to stomach mundane conversations with his colleagues. The group finishes their meal and all is going well. Alex is eager to return home, but he stays until the end because of Christina. Once everyone has left, Christina and Alex go for a drive as they usually do. Enjoying one another's company. Things get awkward when Christina probes Alex on whether he sees her as more than a friend. Here. she reveals her complicated feelings regarding their friendship.
