The Majestic

Milo (33, English, cocky, extraverted) and Jade (57, American, an introverted feeler) join their colleagues in the field as a cluster of five Terra Breaches appear in an American city. Terra Breaches are portals between our world and a mirror dimension, the Majestic named Terra. The Majestic Agents must face an array of Anomalies categorized Malignant (exceptionally dangerous, #2 rank) and Nexus (existential threat, #1 rank). During the chaos, several Majestic Agents perish, including close friends of Milo and Jade. Also present is Anomaly-663. Codenamed: THE HOUNDSMAN. Classification: Nexus. Jade was tasked with eliminating this Houndsman and his three Hellhounds 30 years prior, but she failed. During this mission, the Houndsman accidentally killed Milo's mother. This was Jade's greatest failure. Milo does not know this truth. Jade must face this old-time foe and find closure for what happened to Milo's mother. Throughout season 1, it's not the plethora of Anomalies that Milo and Jade must conquer, but their increasingly complicated feelings for one another. Despite the large age gap, both find themselves falling in love. If only Jade was Milo's age, not married, and didn't have a daughter as old as he was. Maybe in another life? Jade will die in the climax of the season. In season 2, Milo is sent back in time 30 years where he teams up with the younger Jade of a similar age. Here, things get incredibly complicated. There will be multiple storylines threaded between different characters throughout the currently planned two seasons. All are connected. From Milo and Jade. To the creator of the universe and his son. The two anomalous entities. There is great depth to this story. Each element is present in this revised pilot, but the cosmic storyline is only hinted. Jade and Milo are the heart of the story. "If God created the universe, then God is evil. If God is good, God didn't create the universe. Unless God created a force of comparable power who tarnished its creation, then God is foolish."
