Synopsis/Details
James, his wife Lisa and their two kids are surviving in a world where food is scarce and danger is high after an apocalyptic event has occurred. In order to ensure his families survival James hesitantly joins up with a local group of marauders.
He goes on a few raids with this group and starts to accumulate the supplies he needs but the groups methods of acquiring these goods prove to be a little to much for James morally. After these raids and a lot of internal debates James decides he wants out. One of the raiders, Joel, catches wind of this and feels betrayed so as leader of the group he decides that it’s not going to be that easy for him so he sets off to take care of James.
James and the kids manage to escape Joel’s wrath but Joel and his men kidnap Lisa and wound James in the process. The next morning James and the kids go to Joel’s house to get Lisa back and after a fierce shootout, they succeed but at the cost of James’s life. Lisa is now left alone to ensure her and the kids survival in the harsh world.
