Synopsis/Details
June Barlow knows that there is something different about her family compared to others and after doing some research she finds out why. Her family are descendants of cursed witches. This curse would see only females born into the family. These women would all have money troubles and would hallucinate from time to time. This is a problem for June who has just become pregnant with a baby boy. In order to break the curse, June must collect her mother Olive and her grandmother Esme and they all travel to the town Willow Point where she believes it originated. Here, they team up with three generations of warlocks who she found during her research. Donald, his father Burt and his grandfather Abe. They also have a similar curse that would see only males born into their family and these men would never be smart and have horrible luck. Together the group of six try out various spells and rituals in order to break the curses that plague their families but due to their cursed attributes, things never go as planned. Eventually, after many failed experiments, they get a vision of the past and where the original curse came from. This new knowledge enables them to finally break the curse and be confident that their future generations will be free from any pre-determined conditions which is evident by the birth of June’s baby.
