Synopsis/Details
In the near future, Simon Taylor is CEO to one of the planet’s most recognized brands. Known as the Halo, his virtual assistant platform puts Advanced Intelligence on a new and exciting trajectory. In fact, Sophia is the most widely spoken hot word the world has ever known. Sophia represents many things to many people: Advanced Intelligence, the wisdom of the crowd, the combined intelligence of every human that came before her, but to Simon, her creator, she embodies one thing – the next evolutionary step in the Human Continuum. From individuals to institutions, Sophia’s Halo application allows her clients to leverage a resource unparalleled in human history. She knows everything you need to know when you need to know it. Most importantly, though, she has learned what it means to be human. If your planet fell victim to an existential threat, one that would forever change life as we know it, who would you trust to lead you out of it; a collection of politicians, a governing body with questionable loyalties? Or would you trust a being who filters knowledge through wisdom itself? Confronted by his species’ ability to adapt, Simon must answer a question he could easily defer to you. If you could deploy any combination of genetics and technology in order to accelerate our evolutionary process, if you could eliminate intolerance, greed, and the suffering we impose on each other, would you do it? Would you intervene and change the destiny of humankind? Simon knows his answer. Do you know yours?

Not sure that's me, but maybe it's you. Enough said. I think you get it. I started writing late in life, self-publishing three novels, including one historical fiction and two sci-fi dramas. As rewarding as those projects were, it was during the process of adapting two of my novels into feature length scripts that I realized I enjoyed the art of screenwriting more than novel writing. I suppose my love of movies influenced the transition. I can still vividly remember watching the original Papillon in the theater as a kid. I sat in… Go to bio
