The Legend of Croglin Grange

Offered a shot at the supervising producer job on the reality show “Vampires: Myth or Menace,” ambitious writer/producer HANNAH FISHER chooses as her next segment topic a legendary vampire haunting the grounds of Croglin Grange, a crumbling English castle. Paired up with vampire-loving cameraman SIMON, she treks to the castle, staying at a nearby inn run by LENA MCCONNELL, who’s also the castle’s caretaker. Lena’s hoping that Hannah and Simon can prove that wolves are behind the deaths which have been attributed to RICHARD MARLOWE, the vampire who’s supposedly been haunting the castle for two hundred years. But Hannah’s own skepticism gets challenged when she sneaks onto the castle grounds at night and gets bitten by something – or someone. The next day Hannah and Simon visit WILLOW O’SHEA, the pretty, eccentric town librarian who’s a descendant of one of the families from the legend. Simon and Willow hit it off, especially when Hannah shows them the bite on her neck and they’re convinced even more that the vampire exists. That night Richard the vampire breaks into Hannah’s room, and when he bites her, Hannah gets transported back in time to 1820, where she becomes ANNA PETTICOURT, a young debutante who’s been betrothed to Richard by his father. At a party, Richard woos Hannah/Anna, and despite her best efforts, she begins to fall in love with him, much to the despair of Richard’s stepsister MAGDALENA and her Celtic witch mother AGATHA who, according to the legend, were responsible for Richard’s vampire curse. Returning to the present, Hannah gets a blood transfusion from Simon and wrestles with the incredible choices facing her. With her friends’ help, she realizes that if Richard bites her again, she might be able to go back to 1820 and prevent Agatha and Magdalena from accidentally turning him into a vampire. Deciding that love is worth risking everything for, Hannah, Simon and Willow return to the castle, looking for Richard. But Hannah, while alone, gets kidnapped by Magdalena, who’s been kept alive by Celtic magic all these years. Magdalena plans to use Hannah’s body to return herself back to 1820 and undo the curse while getting Richard to fall in love with her instead. As Simon and Willow struggle to reason with a bloodthirsty Richard, Hannah works desperately to outsmart Magdalena, leading to a climactic battle across time with all of their lives and fates in the balance.
