Synopsis/Details
Kathleen comes to after a horrific car wreck, only to find herself seated at a child’s tea party across from Joey, an over-pierced misfit, Christopher, a luckless homeless man, and a young girl and her stuffed animals. Muddled, she tries to write it off as an Ambien-filled fog but soon realizes that she is indeed dead. Soon, the child’s mother hurries into the room with a tray full of still warm, chocolate bacon cookies, prompting the discovery that they are the child’s imaginary friends. Elated, Kathleen thieves mother’s cigarettes out of her apron, takes over the bottom bunk of the bed and devours all the cookies without sharing, before accusing everyone of past transgressions. But, when a game of riddles begins, Kathleen is thrust into a new reality where the consequences for her last moments on earth become clear.
