Synopsis/Details
The so-called experts are wrong — the Earth is far older than they think, and intelligent life was here long before Man.
Prior to recorded history, two highly advanced humanoid civilizations ruled the planet, both having evolved from one of the few species to survive the first Great Extinction… The Troodon dinosaur.
They couldn’t be more different.
The evil Empireans were driven by conquest and greed. Embracing technology far superior than what humans have achieved, they mastered interstellar travel, capturing beings from distant worlds to use as slave labor in their mines, stripping every planet they encountered of its natural resources and precious gems. They viewed conflict as commonplace, and saw warfare as a necessity in their quest to rule the galaxy.
And then there were the peaceful Tromanoids, who believed conflict was pointless, and knew nothing of warfare. Also intellectually advanced, they firmly believed technology was a means to an end, not a path to the future. Thus, they were content to live a simple existence, farming and raising livestock, educating the next generation on the importance of living in peace and harmony with all creatures and beings, regardless of their intentions—a philosophy that nearly resulted in their annihilation.
Prior to leaving Earth before the second Great Extinction, the Empireans vowed to return someday and conquer the planet, and any lifeforms that somehow managed to survive.
Fast forward to the present…
Texas Poly University is sponsoring an excavation of Mayan ruins in the Yucatan jungle and three recent high school graduates — Wendy, Jessie and Jason — have signed up for the adventure of a lifetime.
What they find is way more than they bargained for — two discoveries that will alter the fate of all humanity…
The first is an Atlantean scroll containing a prophecy of nihilistic Nostradamus proportions. The second is an intelligent and benevolent creature, hiding in the jungle for eons, just waiting for the right time to reveal itself to humanity in the hopes of saving the world from the danger that is rapidly approaching.
In the vein of "Indiana Jones" meets "Stranger Things" meets "E.T.", TROMAN is a four-quadrant action/adventure series that will leave you wondering about the Mayans, believing in the lost civilization of Atlantis, and hoping that cryptozoological creatures like Chupacabra and Sasquatch never decide to make your acquaintance.
Based on the novel TROMAN by Robert W. Pietzsch
