Synopsis/Details
Dosha, a young drifter, seeks out her estranged father, Gonzo Reyes. An urban legend almost all her life, she finds him a broken man living in the projection booth of a run-down movie house. There she meets Beckett, a pessimistic employee, and Syd, his scheming best friend with a strong hatred for the "old man." Facing eviction, and later arrest, the boys are desperate to survive. When Dosha tells them a stash of two dollar bills (worth thousands) is hidden somewhere in the theater, the three plot to take it for themselves. *Attached below are the first thirty pages of the feature-length script.

The Writer: Patrick Taylor

Screenwriter from South Mississippi with B. A. in Theatre Directing. Currently residing in Tampa, FL. I'm the co-founder of a small production company, Falconista Films, with whom I produced seventeen short film projects. As a storyteller, I'm passionate about films that are realistic but also celebrate the realm of impossibility that exists only in the movies. Through my work I tend to play with classic tropes, campy style, and kitsch to explore contemporary issues through a horror lense. A few influences would have to include: Rod Serling, George A Romero, Anna Biller, Stephen King, and Seijin Suzuki. Go to bio
