Synopsis/Details
John and Marie and Aaron and Jessica are two normal families bound together by the coveted morning carpool. Marie and Jessica, work colleagues at their children's school, spend mornings together on their daily morning ride. They've become friends and share their private lives, successes and failures.  In a tragic accident, Marie and Jessica are killed, leaving their well-meaning, but incapable husbands to flounder through learning how to raise children, run a household, all while balancing career and grief.  John spirals when he learns Marie had a secret. Aaron crumbles when anxiety overtakes and a fear of losing all he has left, his only daughter, cripples him.  Through a chance meeting, the two men confide in one another, grow close, and learn to lean on each other for support. No longer alone, the kids are thriving, the men are coping, and life feels a little less miserable as they come to accept a new way of living, with one another.

The Writer: Jennifer Lucic

My name is Jennifer Lucic and I am a new screenwriter looking to establish myself in the world of feature films. Movies and writing have been a life long passion, and at the ripe age of 35, after building a career in the public sector and raising a young family, I finally decided that I wanted to chase after the dream that's always existed in my head. I want to write stories that make an impact and bring people together. Go to bio
