Synopsis/Details
“The Clock Strikes 12” is based on Caribbean folklore known as a Jumbie, which is a human by day and creature at night. It is based in an Urban setting in which The Jenkins’ family from California moves to the east coast to a very odd neighborhood that is hiding a big secret that no wants to admit. As the story goes, on we find out that there is a killer among them, but no one knows who it is. It is kind of a mystery who the killer is? Until the question turns from who is the killer? To what the killer is? The story follows Keyshia Jenkins and her brother Marcus as they seek to answer these questions. Do they find out in time? They learn the legend of the true legend of the Jumbie which comes in many forms, is very real. It is a horror/mystery, which will have you wondering who is the Jumbie, it opens up with a bang. The thing about the Jumbie, is that it is a real thing in many caribbean islands, many people swear by their existence. It is kind of a like "Scream" meets "The Lost Boys".

The Writer: McDalan Francois

Hi, my name is McDalan Francois. I have been a film enthusiast all my life, and at one point gave up on my dream. However now I am reinvigorated as I feel that a movie idea comes everyday. Being able to take small things that I see and turn it into a movie is what I enjoy. What I love about writing screenplays is that iy allows you to be creative, free your mind, and create yoour own world with your own rules. I have written 3 full screenplays, and have 4 more ideas that I will be turning into screenplays in succession. I think that it is important when writing a screenplay to stand out, not writs about the same thing that has been written about many times over, unless it is done differently… Go to bio
