Synopsis/Details
1. TED suffers from odynacusous, a damaged tympanic membrane caused by a severe infection as an infant normal noises are painful, bright lights cause headaches TED has to wear earplugs and thick glasses. TED'S mother EDNA is a prostitute and alcoholic who abuses TED when she drinks. 2. TED has to work part time after school - he is 16 big for his age and everyone picks on him. TED comes home after work on his birthday to find his mother with a client - when she turns tricks TED has to hide in the kitchen and be very quiet. TED has been without medication for over a week - he hears voices, his head hurts and the anger and resentment builds to a climax. 3. TED loses control walks in on his mother and client and stabs them to death - he then takes a gun and walks to the deli where he works - TED is intent on revenge and gets it.
