Synopsis/Details
BIBA + TRU is a road movie dramedy with thriller elements about two lost people who think they've found their way when they find each other. Even though set in 1970, it has a definite modern edge. When nurse BIBA reads thru the journal of a comatose patient to try and find out who he is, she is convinced she has found the man she’s been searching for. After he wakes up, TRU seemingly has lost his memory but he remembers Biba, who he saw in a half-delirious state. As their connection grows, Tru's vengeful half-brother comes looking for him at the hospital, and Biba helps Tru escape. The two leave their lives behind and go on-the run up the California coast in 1970, until their romantic adventure hits some surprising speed bumps.
