Synopsis/Details
A high-end clothes shop fitting room may not be a common place to meet new people, but that is where two women first acquaint themselves. Accidentally throwing over a discarded dress into an adjacent cubicle, Lisa inadvertently begins a process that will ultimately unmask her mysterious boyfriend as a philandering egomaniac. Madeleine hands her the dress back. The two begin talking about the trips their partners will soon take them on. However, it sounds like the two men are remarkably similar in their tastes and lifestyle choices. The two women happily try on dresses for foreign trips their partners are soon to take them on. They begin to talk, and through a string of verbal coincidences, the similarities of their wealthy, jet-setting partner, including OCD idiosyncracies, unravel the men to be the same person. They even regularly frequent the same popular and pricey restaurant, Franco’s. Madeleine, tall, blonde, and pretty, and Lisa, tall, blond, and pretty, step out of their respective cubicles to confirm they are physically remarkably similar. Their shock and disappointment at the revelation that their men are one and the same is immediately tempered as they hatch a plan to get their own back – a plan that starts with hitting him where it hurts - his bank balance. They decide to charge his account and credit cards for several dresses each before going to lunch at Franco’s, where they will further plot their revenge.
