Two wizened twin brothers come to, shackled together on lonely stretch of beach at dawn. As the tide rapidly returns, they wonder about the whos, the whats and the hows of why they've ended up in this pickle. A series of flashbacks (all in a car’s interior) show their conspicuous consumption over their lives - all the discarded waste, the polluting gas-guzzling vehicle, the offspring of their offspring multiplying, the expanding waistlines and claustrophobia in the tightening space. Back in the present, the tide up to their necks, the two men realise that they've contributed heavily to the global warming that has caused this flood. But one has a plan to get them out of it. He proceeds to drink the ocean dry – no end to his capacity to consume. But that thereby bequeaths a barren desert of seabed, a few fish flopping helplessly before breathing their last. Something lodges in the men’s cerebral cortex. They gulp.
