Synopsis/Details
After battles with the teacher, principal, and students, two misfit students realize they can work together to fit into the real world of fifth grade. Abby is a 12-year-old girl trying to fit in with the younger girls who do not hesitate to tease her for not being feminine enough. Abby experiments with dresses, jewelry and hair but is just not comfortable. No matter how hard she struggles, she is unable to fit in. Jagal is an 8-year-old boy dealing with school bullies who go out of their way to tease the shy genius (Jagal) making fun of his size, study habits, and underage physical strength. With the help of Abby, Jagal learns the physical attributes needed for sports and self-defense. The Father of Abby and the mother of Jagal are near the same age and are also complete opposites. They are continually forced together by their kids and awkwardly try to relate. School bullies, Peggy and Rodney, are continually lying, cheating, and teasing Jagal and Abby along with other students. The bullies use every chance they get to break rules and never seem to learn their lesson. The school teachers like Ms. Claire, the fifth-grade teacher, and Principal Demond work hard to help students but never seem to learn their lesson. The hardest working, smartest, and best-behaved students are Abby and Jagal.

But shows got canceled, I was too young, and my unsigned agent stopped returning phone calls. I reluctantly started a career in radio as an assistant to the assistant, then got into news (writing boring articles from aged city council meetings). Finally, I got into television. What started as a writer and producer of commercials and infomercials behind the scenes grew into a reporter and news anchor! I… Go to bio
