Synopsis/Details
Betrayed by his brother Radu, Vlad Tepes is killed on the battle field during a conflict with the Turks. A few nights after, Vera, the witch who raised him and taught him witchcraft, sacrifices her own life and brings him back from hell. From this moment on, Vlad is turned into a ghostly and fearful creature, wondering who he was, and what happened to him. Getting back into his castle and now deserted village, Vlad remains there for centuries, a lonely wraith haunted by dark memories and the creatures from hell that have followed him into this world. Several centuries later, Mina, a young and beautiful pickpocket, and daughter of a stage magician who's been owing money to looters gets captured by these very raiders and traded off in exchange for a treasure map, treasure allegedly belonging to a legendary warrior and Transylvanian prince: Dracula, now turned into an undead creature. When the raiders and their captive walk into the deserted and cursed village, they are attacked by devilish creatures and killed viciously. Spared by the demons, Mina is taken into Dracula's castle, and jailed for several nights, excepting to be killed like the imprudent crooks. But as the nights go by, the undead and the lonely pickpocket finally bound as Mina breaks the vampire's solitude, and finally revives his desire for revenge and truth.
