Synopsis/Details
On their summer vacation, Carla and Dave stop at a diner to grab a bite to eat. Carla sits in the diner while Dave pays the mechanic for fixing their flat tire. The mechanic sends the couple down a deserted road and says it's a shortcut to the highway. While talking in the car, Dave almost hits a boy but does not due to Carla's alarming response. They follow the boy to an abandoned train station and meet the boy's mother, Peg. Carla is introduced to Peg's daily food of fried tarantula. Quickly, the couple leaves the area and gets back on the road but runs into trouble with another flat tire. A man named Joe passes by and drives them back to the mechanic. Dave tells Carla to go ahead and get a room, while Dave goes back to the car. Dave and the mechanic start to leave but Joe shows up and knocks Dave unconscious. A knock at the door, Carla believes it is Dave but is knocked out and taken hostage by Joe. With Peg in the same room as Dave. Peg tortures Dave with a blue tarantula, allowing it to bite Dave on the face. Carla physically takes down Joe and attacks Peg with her own tarantula, punching it down her throat. Dave awakens in a hospital bed and learns that Peg and Joe are siblings. Peg is sent to a mental hospital but Joe currently remains at large. About to be driven to the airport by the sheriff, Carla sees the same boy again and knows the boy is a ghost. Six months later, Dave and Carla sit across from each other. The couple are married and expecting their first child.

The Writer: Nicholas P

Hello, my name is Nicholas P, and welcome to my profile! I encourage other writers to find their voices and show their art! Everyone has a voice. I found mine in giving a lot of character to the scripts that I have written. Write on! I just have one ounce of advice for other writers. Please take it. Isolating yourself from everything is not a good idea, especially when you believe it's going to work. Ideas come from everywhere. All I can tell everyone that has a voice is to stick to it and continue to grow with your creativity. Keep going. I notify everyone that has request to read my scripts, that I will release them when the time is right, and all I ask is for your patience. As of this… Go to bio
