Love Thug Life

Photographer and college student, Jenny waits for her boyfriend to show up for a romantic dinner at a restaurant. A busser named AJ offers her water, but she declines. With her boyfriend, Adam, calling her, informing her that he is unable to show. Jenny tips AJ and leaves the restaurant. About to go home, AJ spots Jenny trying to get a taxi and offers to give her a ride on his bicycle. Home now, safe, Jenny turns in but is awaken the next morning by Adam, and he takes her to brunch at the same restaurant. AJ's life is stressful, due to his grandmother's health declining. AJ returns to his job at the restaurant, again, seeing Jenny there. Adam starts to take control of her life, and Jenny wants to do things for herself. Rather than be controlled, Jenny walks out on him but is greeted back by AJ. With a warm meal in front of her, Jenny helps with the dishes and AJ takes enough tips from the day. The night ends with AJ performing his song by rapping in front of Jenny. Feeling inspired by AJ's courage and words, Jenny continues her photography, and goes to the park to get some good pictures. When a gang member starts harassing Jenny while she sits in the on the bleachers. Once again, AJ comes to her rescue but is assaulted by the gang member, and Jenny's camera being destroyed. At the hospital, the doctor advises AJ to stay with someone. Rather than let him go home, Jenny takes AJ to her apartment. The next morning, Jenny awakens to find AJ gone and her apartment left nicely. AJ returns with breakfast, and a new camera for Jenny. The gesture wins her over and makes her fall in love with AJ. One year later, AJ is a successful rapper and married to Jenny. Now, expecting their first child together. Now complete and happy. The two have happiness together.
