When a con woman tries to rob Marlon of his money, she uncovers a sinister secret, for which she pays the ultimate price...Edgar, her partner in crime, comes looking for her and is therefore also doomed to a terrible fate. With the closing of the local pet shop, Marlon is put in touch with Rona, a young spiky haired Goth who breeds mice and is willing to supply all his needs. Rona's home life is a mess. Her mother Jade is a drug addict, her stepfather Larry a drunken pervert. Rona returns home one day to discover her Mum dead from an overdose, supplied by Larry. Larry suddenly grabs and tries to assault Rona who manages to escape after bludgeoning him with a blunt instrument. It is reported on the news that Rona battered them both, killing her Mum in a frenzied attack. She was now on the run and needing somewhere to stay. She does a deal with Marlon to fulfil his unsavoury food needs in exchange for a roof over her head. Marlon agrees. After a while the two misfits find a common bond and a relationship develops as Rona slowly morphs into Marlon's dead sister Maggie. With Marlon's help, Rona plots her revenge on Larry but the ancestral curse on the Moorcroft family will eventually come back to haunt them!
