Synopsis/Details
Inspired by; Sergio Leone’s “Once Upon a Time in the West” 1968.
A career bandit named Bob Shears, aka Cimarron Bob, forms a gang of bank robbers including his lifelong friend Jace McClain, a female bounty hunter named Court Stowe, and an African American gunslinger named "Stretch" Bishop. They target a string of banks owned by a crooked land grabber named Caden Foley, who years earlier had taken the McClain family's ranch by unscrupulous means.
In the dawn of the twentieth Century, after years on the run, Bob and his gang enter the boom town of Sweetwater, in the Arizona Territory, intending to rob one more branch of Foley Bank and Trust, but find the entire town is under the control of their arch nemesis Caden Foley, with the help of his henchmen, including a ruthless town marshal named Jim Dolan, and his gang of deputized gunmen.
Bob quickly forms a relationship with Jill McBain, the matriarch of Sweetwater, then formulates a plan to rid the town of Foley and his crew and take down his entire enterprise. Bob and his gang recruits the help of several townsfolk, including a mortician, a doctor, a madam and her band of soiled doves, and several others.
Bob and his gang bilk Foley for thousands of dollars through an elaborate con-game which involves the presumed hanging of "Cimarron Bob". On the evening of the supposed hanging, Bob and his gang eliminate Foley's henchmen one-by-one, and eventually Foley takes his own life once he learns his ill-gotten empire has come to an end.
With the town cleaned up, Foley and his cronies gone, Bob and his gang are at a crossroads. Is it time to settle down and plants roots, or do they pack up their gear and say adios? Well, I reckon you're gonna need to read it to find out.
