Synopsis/Details
In Egypt, 1942 a British tank crew, Thorpe, Pilkington, Carter and Roth, find an ancient map on the body of a dead German officer whose plane crashes near their camp. They believe it to lead to an undiscovered tomb that could hold treasure and decide to go AWOL in order to find it. However, the tomb is located deep behind enemy lines and so they must cross the desert in order to reach it. Upon finding the tomb they discover it contains an ancient golden scroll, but before they can return to camp with their treasure they are stopped by a German officer Konig who was searching for the missing map. He takes the scroll from them and has them all arrested as prisoners of war. Whilst inside a prison cell at a German base they meet a local who learns of their discovery and informs them the scroll carries a terrible curse and it must be returned to the tomb, but they don’t believe him. They escape the cell intent on getting the scroll back and retrieve the item much to Konig’s anger. They attempt to return to their camp, but upon witnessing the curse in action agree to return the scroll. It becomes a race against time to get the scroll back in its rightful place before they all succumb to the curse. However Konig is hot on their heels determined to stop them.
