
Synopsis/Details
Further to responding to a recruitment advert. And, after undergoing a series of psychological and medical tests, only four people can ultimately hold the decisive interview with The Grand Jury. Still, with no clue for what position it will be.
They meet in a small waiting-room. DREW, 20s, with a cool demeanor, but disenchanted deep inside. STEVE, 50s, former Globalmart CEO, dressed to the nines, polite and thoughtful. KYOKO, 60s, smooth, poker-faced, a retired biologist. And, Mary, 40s, buxom, a shy, inhibited housewife.Their small talk is followed by an endless wait.
Now, the heat is oppressive and the air conditioner is out of order. What they’re all unaware of is that it is their ensuing reactions, along with the entailing chain of events that will determine the successful candidate. Actually, an observer is among them incognito, and will report to the Grand Jury. To the group’s surprise, the Grand Jury is the very man they had found dead earlier in the bathroom.
Interestingly, the female gender of the lead character, Drew, is revealed as a final twist.

The Grand Jury placed semi-finalists in the 2018 Reelheart International TV Pilot & Screenplay Competition and the January 2022 Wiki Screenplay Contest.
It was the Winner of the 2022 Arrow International Film Festival. Then, Best Short Script in February 2023 Milan Gold Awards and March 2023 Hercules Independent Film Festival.
