Synopsis/Details
It is WW II, 1943, RAF Base Ducksford England. A lone B-17 enters the landing pattern and comes in for a landing. The plane comes to a halt and no one gets out. A British officer goes on board and find the aircraft empty. No crew and barely any damage. All the parachutes are there. Where is the crew? Why would they jump without their parachutes. What could possibly cause a flight crew to jump to certain death? The aircraft is taken apart and put back together to solve the mystery. A forest in the north of England. An American bomber crew walks out of the forest onto a farmers field. They are taken back to the RAF base where they awaken confused and scared. The aircraft is buzzed by a Foo Fighter. What we would now call a UFO. A flash of light fills the cockpit and the B-17 is in a featureless room. The crew gets out and then they vanish only to reappear in a forest in the north of England. Despite investigation by they RAF and USAAF the mystery is never solved.
