Synopsis/Details
A group of teenage boys hanging out on an estate. One boy (Curtis) cycles to them all of them hand him money, all except one boy (Connor) who eventually hands Curtis a smaller amount. In response Curtis hits Connor. After Connor yields Curtis notices a young boy (Wesley) watching on. He steps away from Connor and waves at Wesley. Later that day Curtis is still with the same boys, Connor is keeping his distance and Wesley is watching on from his bedroom. Curtis receives a text and cycles off. Curtis cycles home and collects a handgun hidden in his bedroom. He cycles to a building, on his way he notices a CCTV camera capturing him. He hands the gun to a man, pretending not to notice a man being tortured inside. Curtis later picks up the gun and his payment in the morning. Curtis later arrives at the home of Wesley and his mum Jade. Curtis reveals that he's bought them breakfast. Curtis excuses himself and hides the handgun in Jade's bedroom unaware that Wesley is awake and watching him. Unaware that Wesley was watching him Curtis greets him and they start playing on Wesley's games console. Curtis gets a a text and says that he has to leave. Before he leaves he tries to tell Wesley how he was wrong to hurt Connor but can't bring himself to do so. With Curtis gone and Jade asleep in the living room Wesley goes to the bedroom and takes the handgun and begins to play with it. Back outside the estate Curtis returns to the group where Connor is waiting for him with a knife. Everybody gives Curtis his share except for Connor. When Curtis approaches him Connor tries to stab Curtis and the two fight. Wesley overhears and follows the noise of the struggle. Wesley enters to see Connor stabbing Curtis. He aims the gun at Connor who freezes. Curtis tries to talk Wesley out of it and he begins to tremble. Seeing his chance Connor tries to grab the gun and Wesley fires.

The Writer: Patrick Foster

Freelance scriptwriter based in Manchester, UK. I've worked on various freelance independent productions working as an editor, videographer and general assistant. In what little spare time I have I try writing scripts both short and feature films. Hoping to eventually have the funds and network to make one myself. Some of the scripts that I'm sharing have already been picked up directors and producers but unfortunately for various reasons the production was put on indefinite hiatus and now I've decided put these scripts on the public domain. Please note scripts that are samples only are Not part of the public domain. I hope you enjoy them and I would appreciate any feedback. Go to bio
