Synopsis/Details
After getting into another fight at school everybody has had enough of Cassie. Everybody except for her best friend Hannah and social worker Clara. But despite knowing of their support Cassie runs away from her foster home and sleeps in an abandoned construction site with other rough sleepers. That night the camp are attacked by a werewolf. Cassie is taken but fights of the wolf and escapes. We fade to days later where Hannah is visiting her GP with her mother Rose. The GP recommends a stronger dosage of antidepressants due to Hannah's recent suicide attempt and prescribes her a trial drug made from ketamine. Later that day at school Hannah is taken out of class and taken to a hospital where Cassie is comatose. In the hospital Hannah meets Clara and they both assure each other that they will never give up on Cassie. Later Hannah is eating with her parents Rose and Greg. When Cassie is bought up Hannah becomes hostile when Rose speaks about her in a negative light and storms off. Greg asks why Rose said what she did Rose remarks that Cassie is more "animal than human". That night as the full moon emerges Cassie wakes up and transforms the only witness being the patient next to her whose face is bandaged and can't speak. Cassie awakes the next morning unsure of what happened but feeling good about it. When Hannah meets her they sneak out of the hospital to get some food. As they go to get some they come across one of the rough sleepers from the night Cassie was attacked. He tries to ask her but Cassie tells Hannah to just ignore him. After Rose spots them she takes Hannah home. Cassie wanders on her own coming across her on and off again boyfriend Marlon who is doing community service with a man named Dee. Cassie eventually returns to the hospital where Clara is waiting. Clara tells Cassie that she would be staying at hers until she finds her suitable accommodation. While Cassie stays with Clara she begins to notice changes in her body. She meets with Hannah who offers Cassie her antidepressants to prevent the changes. They have a short term affect on Cassie but soon she runs out when Hannah reveals that she doesn't have anymore. Needing something before the full moon that evening Cassie seeks an alternative from Marlon and Dee. But instead Dee tries to assault her but Cassie manages to fight him off and get outside where the full moon transforms her. She kills Dee but only wounds Marlon turning him into her "bitch". Over the following month Cassie embraces her change while Hannah starts researching for ways to find a toxin. Eventually she is caught by her science teacher Mr. Glenn, who is now dating Clara, and she reveals whats been going on. Meanwhile Cassie has fully embraced her violent tendencies and on the eve of the next full moon she encounters her alcoholic mother and kills her in human form before attacking some of the pupils who bullied her in school. Hannah, Clara and Mr. Glenn track her down discovering that next she is going to attack Hannah's parents. Hannah rushes back home. Marlon tries to attack her but Clara drives into him. Hannah reaches her parents home to discover Cassie attacking it. Hannah manages to calm Cassie down before stabbing her in the back with the syringe. Cassie transforms back into human form and dies from her wounds. Hannah discovers that the entire time Cassie had kept a picture of the two of them.

The Writer: Patrick Foster

Freelance scriptwriter based in Manchester, UK. I've worked on various freelance independent productions working as an editor, videographer and general assistant. In what little spare time I have I try writing scripts both short and feature films. Hoping to eventually have the funds and network to make one myself. Some of the scripts that I'm sharing have already been picked up directors and producers but unfortunately for various reasons the production was put on indefinite hiatus and now I've decided put these scripts on the public domain. Please note scripts that are samples only are Not part of the public domain. I hope you enjoy them and I would appreciate any feedback. Go to bio
