Synopsis/Details
The main character works as an assassin together with another woman. She does, however, have a great need for another life and finds glimpses of this with her best friend when they take long, quiet walks in the forest. They have a solid friendship though they know very little about each other. Her best friends is a police detective, and she gets the main character's last kill on her desk, not knowing who the killer is. Knowing that the main character is single, the best friend arranges a meeting with a single, male friend of hers. They spend the night together. In the meantime, the police have found the main character's and the other assassin's apartment and her partner in crime escapes and meets up with the main character, demanding her to erase all tracks, killing her new lover and her friend. Pointing a gun at his face she cannot force herself to pull the trigger. Instead, they become a tighter couple and when the best friend comes to arrest her, they both run. They aim for a new, free life together. The main character and the best friend have a solid friendship separating action from character, and they remain friends. Though she will risk getting arrested the main character invites her best friend, the cop, to her wedding ceremony with their common acquaintance. Her former partner in crime does not, however, accept these events of things and turns up at the wedding kidnapping them all. The main character gets their kidnapper under gunpoint but chose not to kill. Instead, she gets arrested together with her former partner in crime.

"..the deeper theme of the film is friendship – the thing that can shine and help someone out of the darkness. That genuine sentiment is prevalent here, and lingers in the mind after the other story details have faded." ACADEMY NICHOLL FELLOWSHIPS IN SCREENWRITING, READER COMMENT

"The writing style in this script is quite lean, and yet it gives us good images from the description, and clear intentions from the characters and their dialogue. The situation, two friends – one a detective, one an assassin is potentially intriguing, as is Mattie’s need for revenge after Kim attempts to turn her in to save Nicholas." The Writer: Désirée Nordlund

I've been writing for as long as I can remember and writing screenplays is what I love the most. When I write spec scripts there is often a female lead and very little talk about guys. I like odd, misunderstood characters as well. If I am hired as a writer I dare say I'm easy to work with, and if we disagree I work to find a way that makes us both happy. I can be budget-oriented if needed, and kill darlings if needed too. Award-winning screenwriter with several short scripts produced, one with Dick Pope behind the camera. This is the latest short film on my resume: The Kill / El último golpe I'm also into novels. Here is a book trailer for Quickfinger . Go to bio
