Synopsis/Details
“Woolsford” is inspired by the classic children’s tale “Peter and the Wolf” and is written along the lines of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” with elements of “Supernatural,” but this is where the similarities end. Peter Hunter arrives in the mysterious town of Woolsford, Oregon to collect his inheritance – his grandfather Dimitri’s farmhouse. Peter has not returned to Woolsford since his parents died many years earlier, and he vaguely remembers his past. Within a day of arriving, Peter's lawyer, Santiago “Santa” Stephens, informs him that Dr. Ulrich Rendall has made an offer on the house. What Peter does not know is that Ulrich is the leader of a local wolf pack and is working on a highly secretive DNA project with potential global ramifications. Peter finds romance with Karlyn Kresek, Santa’s stepdaughter, who works at the university DNA lab. But newfound love is tempered by the cold reality Peter learns from his antagonistic yet protective mentor, Nadina Lancer -- Peter’s parents belonged to an elite order of werewolf slayers. Nadina, a badass warrior, urges Peter to accept his place in the Order, and tells him that Woolsford has been a breeding ground for werewolves and malevolent spirits for centuries. If that's not enough, Nadina reveals that Peter's farmhouse sits atop a wolf burial ground. As mysteries are revealed to Peter about his past, and hostilities with the wolves heat up, he must decide whether to leave Woolsford… or stay and face a most uncertain future.
